Adam Cairns is the owner of Poetry Works. He has four decades of corporate experience including twenty years as CEO of complex healthcare organisations. He is a published poet and holds a Masters in Writing Poetry (Distinction) from Newcastle University and the Poetry School, London. Adam is an experienced teacher, mentor and coach. He works with organisations who are looking for creative ways to develop memorable language. He supports individuals who need mentoring or coaching and runs a training course on personal productivity and time management. He accepts commissions for special occasion poems for conferences and events.

Adam specialises in working at the interface between C-Suite and the tools and techniques he brings to support the development of memorable language. His corporate experience means he can engage with leadership in a real world context. He is passionate about the potential the machinery of poetry can provide for organisations. Adam runs a personal productivity and time management course. It consists of eight, one hour sessions and can be delivered one to one or to a group.
